The Plain Meeting House, formerly the West Greenwich Baptist Church. c. 1825

 

The Plain Meeting House, circa 1825, was built by the “Independent and Union Society” as a meeting house for the use of all Christian congregations. The West Greenwich Baptist Church generously donated the structure to the West Greenwich Land Trust in 2005. This property is located at 275 Plain Meetinghouse Rd., adjacent to a historic cemetery at the corners of Plain Rd., Plain Meetinghouse Rd., and Liberty Hill Rd.
